Why We Renamed Our Quantum and Omni Hop Products

Some of our product names have changed. Let's talk about it.

No updates to formulas.

No changes to how anything tastes or performs.

Just a fresh coat of paint - one straightforward, one a little weird.

Let’s break it down:

Quantum Got Clarity

No more international hop codes like CIT, AZA, or MOS. We now call them what they actually are - Citra®, Azacca®, Mosaic®, etc.

It’s a change we’ve wanted to make for a while. Now it’s official.

Easier to understand, more straightforward. We’ll take the win.

Omni Got... Fanciful

Now for the opposite.

Omni’s hyper-consistent hop flavor hasn’t changed one bit. But its names? They’ve gone from secret code to sly descriptor.

So instead of GXYX026, you’ll see AU Tropical. Instead of CITX014, meet Woody Citrus.

Think of them as wink-wink varietal tributes. We can’t say what they really are - but if you know, you know.

Our Omni labels will also now include a "Compare to" statement on the front. For example, beneath Woody Citrus is a "Compare to the flavor of Citra®" statement. Think of them like little hints while you figure out our fancy new names.
