We’ve partnered with the cool dudes over at budboard to create these formulas. They collect lab data from over 5,000 different products and deliver that information to over 200,000 medical marijuana patients every month.

Budboard strongly believes that people should know as much information about these cannabis products so that patients can make the best purchasing decisions. After all, you want the product to do what it’s advertised to do, right?

The Algorithm

Machine learning is all about pattern recognition. If you feed it enough accurate data, you’ll start to see trends emerge.

If we compile enough data then we can start to find patterns in the products ingredients. This allows us to isolate and utilize the components that most often produce the desired effects. As we get more data, the formula becomes more accurate. Currently we are using more than a million data points (and growing!) to craft these AI Terp Effect blends.

Trust but verify.

Now even though we have a high-degree of certainty based off the algorithm, we always need to verify that we’re making accurate predictions.

The algorithm predicts that this formula of terpenes will produce this specific effect. So we take that prediction and compare it against hundreds of different white-papers to “sanity check” the results. If the algorithm’s predictions match the scientific literature, we can reasonably assume that the data is valid.

  • Storage and Dilution

    Storage: We strongly recommend leaving AI Terp Effect blends unopened until ready for use. After they’re opened you’ll want to keep them in a dark refrigerator at below 36F to preserve the wonderful terpenes. Storing them improperly will result in aroma degradation. Similar to a jar of flower, the more you open and expose it to air and light, the more likely the terpenes will degrade/lose potency. For absolute best results, use within 3 months of receiving.

    Handling: Wear gloves and eye protection when handling. Use in a properly ventilated area and out of the reach of children. Avoid contact with the skin, eyes, wood surfaces, and fabrics.
